

Albert Samano III
Certified Emergency Manager (CEM)
Albert is the founder and president of Fortress, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the assessment, design, and implementation of emergency preparedness programs for federal, state, and private clients in the transportation, energy, and public health sectors.
In the 1990s, he led the emergency preparedness program for the Central Artery/Tunnel Project (the “Big Dig”)—one of the largest, most complex, and technically challenging highway infrastructure projects in U.S. history. He also served nine years in the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program and Submarine Service.
He brings 40 years of experience working alongside engineers, scientists, architects, and urban planners to develop emergency preparedness programs for projects and facilities.
Albert earned an AS from Idaho State University and a BS in Liberal Arts, magna cum laude, from Excelsior University.
